Getting to Anfield

Families - family park
Three hours before kick-off, the LFC Family Park will be open for families to attend and join in with a number of interactive activities. We have an inflatable five-a-side football, speed cage, target cage and table football. Our club mascot Mighty Red is also there waiting to greet all families and have fun with our junior fans. The family park is located on Anfield Road next to the food village and is free of charge to enter for those families who have purchased a match ticket.
Families - tickets
Our adult and child section of the ground has been refurbished and there are visuals within the concourse which focus on the history of the club and interactive picture opportunities and face painting. To purchase tickets and for more information please click here.
What time to enter the stadium
Fans can enter the stadium up to 90 minutes before kick-off and enjoy the pre-match build up.
We advise that you should take your seat within the stadium no later than 20 minutes before kick-off.
LFC club shop
Based at the Kop, visit the LFC store before the game to purchase your shirt, scarf or LFC momento.
The store will stay open for an extra hour after the final whistle (this includes evening games). You can also purchase merchandise online before the game using our online store or in any LFC official club store.
Pubs with history
There are many pubs close to the stadium, which fans visit before the game as part of their matchday ritual. These are on Walton Breck Road and Oakfield Road, the most famous being the Sandon, originally owned by John Houlding MP - the first LFC president and ex-Lord Mayor of Liverpool. It was here that members of Everton used to meet up before their eventual switch to Goodison Park, leading to the formation of Liverpool FC. Interestingly, the premises was often used as a changing room by both the Liverpool and Everton sides of the 1890s - the players walking through the crowds to the ground on matchdays.
Match Programmes
Don't forget to purchase a programme! Match programmes are available to purchase at the ground or within the club store. You can also purchase a programme via the online store.
Seating Plan
Regardless of where you're sitting in the stadium it is easy to find your seat. You can print off the seating plan before you travel, or at Anfield you'll find maps, help points and stewards on hand to assist with any queries you may have. Disabled access at Anfield is well adapted to welcoming disabled visitors - click here for details>>
Refreshments within the stadium
You'll find numerous kiosks within the stadium selling a range of hot and cold food and drinks, including hot dogs, pasta and several varieties of pies. In the Family Zone (upper Anfield Road) there is a dedicated kiosk for our junior fans which serves hot dogs and snacks. Please note, Liverpool FC's Boot Room Sports Cafe is only open on matchdays to those who have purchased a hospitality package in the Boot Room.
Anfield in full voice
Anfield is famous for its atmosphere and we welcome all fans to join in with the songs sung in the stands. Here (Kop Songs) you will find the lyrics to our most famous songs.
Match Day Stadium Tour
Lasts approximately 45 minutes. Tour groups go through the players' entrance, down the corridor to outside the dressing room area, see the 'This Is Anfield' sign, then down the tunnel to the dug-out, and finish at the Kop end. On match days there is no entrance to either dressing rooms. For more information click here>>To book click here>>
